I Make The Difference Award

Each semester one award may be given per work site to one outstanding certified AND one outstanding classified employee who meets the I Make The Difference selection criteria:

  1. Employee has a positive effect on other people.
  2. Employee makes a significant contribution to the improvement of their work site in the Phenix City Public School system.
  3. Employee demonstrates extraordinary concern for the needs and welfare of colleagues and students.

The nomination process at each worksite will be determined by the principal or supervisor. Employees may receive this award only one time during a three year period.

I Make The Difference award winners will receive:

Personal recognition from the Phenix City Board of Education at a scheduled meeting

Commemorative coffee mug & Certificate of Recognition
